A lot of people want to build their family tree, but they’re not sure where to begin. That’s where I come in! I’ve been using Ancestry.com for more than 20 years to build trees and confirm critical biographical information. I enjoy sharing my tips and tricks for constructing a robust tree, and I’m available in a consulting capacity to guide you through what can be a very confusing process. How it Works:

  1. We start by discussing your level of comfort with technology. This helps me craft both your tree and personalized instructions to fit your needs.

  2. We identify what you hope to achieve by building your family tree and how many generations back you’d like to go.

  3. I gather enough biographical information about your family members to get the tree started, and then I get to building!

  4. I send you updates as I go so you can decide when you’re ready to take over.

  5. I send you Ancestry tutorials or walk you through the website features in person, depending on how you prefer to learn to use the tool.

What You Get:

The tree I build for you will reflect what you value. Some people are concerned with confirming biographical information and tracing lineage, while others just really want to see photos and hear narratives about their ancestors. I can concentrate on whatever aspect of your family you’re most interest in learning about.
